1) Confirm the key matches the product (Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Technology / Programming). 2) Verify your machine has internet access to licence.yenka.com. 3) Re-enter the key in Help → Licence. 4) For network licences, check that the licence server service is running.

Simulation runs slowly or freezes

Reduce simulation complexity, update graphics drivers, and adjust quality settings.

Lower the simulation speed in the bottom toolbar, disable 'High quality rendering' under Settings → Display, and update your GPU drivers. For Chemistry, reducing the number of particles dramatically improves performance.
